What the site holds
The site supports ACC 300, taught by Jillian Bommarito. It holds the assigned reading, the class schedule, the lecture slides, and practice questions. Everything on it is free to read and needs no account.
The official Broad syllabus and direct instructor announcements control course requirements. D2L is the official location for graded work. The terms of use explain that split in full.
The YouTube channel
The course has a YouTube channel, @understandingaccounting. It holds the recorded lectures and the chapter readings. Each lecture is the slide deck for one class meeting, read aloud over the slides, with captions and chapter marks. A chapter mark is a labeled point in the video that lets you jump to one topic. The readings are a podcast on the channel, so a podcast app or YouTube can play them in the background.
Where a lecture or a chapter reading has a copy on the channel, the meeting page, slide page, or reading page plays that copy. The same recording is still on this site behind a download link next to the player, so you do not need YouTube to get it. Subscribing there is the simplest way to hear when a new lecture is posted.
YouTube is a separate service with its own privacy practices and terms. The site's privacy notice explains what an embedded player sends to Google and where to get the recording without one.
