The text supplies a coherent introductory vocabulary for scarcity, opportunity cost, marginal reasoning, supply and demand, elasticity, market structure, and aggregate indicators. The curriculum uses that vocabulary as a secondary explanation layer while deriving its own examples and prose.
Current statistical definitions, policy statements, statutes, and judicial holdings remain anchored to their primary sources. A textbook diagram or worked example cannot establish a current fact, causal effect, or preferred policy.
