The extension file now has four different kinds of evidence: accounting conclusions, supplied valuations and rates, recomputed schedules, and digital reporting tests. Release requires all four to agree without pretending they prove one another.

Use an assertion matrix. For each issue, evaluate scope, completeness, measurement, cutoff, classification, presentation, disclosure, digital identity, authorization, and standards currency. Link every passing assertion to evidence. Link every failure to an owner and stop condition.

Then write the escalation memo. It should say what is supported now, the largest possible statement effect of each unresolved fact when estimable, the exact evidence requested, who must decide, and whether the package can be released, conditionally released, or held. “Consult a specialist” is too vague without the question and consequence.

The cumulative case deliberately includes one derivative with incomplete designation evidence, a supplied currency conclusion, a completed acquisition valuation, a simple consolidation worksheet, and one duplicate XBRL context. A strong submission does not force them all to green. It resolves the supported items and holds the unsupported one open.

That discipline is the point of the bridge. Advanced topics do not become safe because the schedule is small. They become manageable when the accountant can frame the problem, preserve evidence, compute bounded effects, and stop at the right boundary.
