Rust check

Complete the rust check in D2L. It covers financial accounting from ACC 201 that you will use again in ACC 300. The results identify topics you may want to review. The check is worth 5 points based on completion, not correctness. You have 1 attempt. Answer from memory without consulting notes, readings, websites, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, or another person.

Syllabus and technology check

Read the course syllabus, then complete the check in D2L. The syllabus is available inside the check, and you may consult it while you work. The check is worth 10 points. Follow the instructions in D2L to open it through Respondus LockDown Browser. The check confirms that the browser works on your computer before Exam 1 and the Units 3 and 4 mini-exam. Respondus Monitor and a webcam are not required.

Introduction assignment

Create one PowerPoint slide that introduces you to me. Submit the slide privately through D2L. The assignment is worth 10 points based on completion.

Required: include these items

  • Your name.
  • Your preferred name, if different.
  • How to pronounce your name.
  • Your major.
  • Your career interests.
  • Your experience with AI tools. It is fine to say that you have none.

Optional: add any of these if you would like

  • Preferred pronouns (optional).
  • A photo of yourself (optional).
  • Internship or work experience.
  • Interests, hobbies, or pets.
  • A favorite television show, movie, or type of music.
  • A fun fact about you.

Where to submit

Complete the rust check and the syllabus and technology check in D2L. Submit the introduction slide there too. The course schedule lists each deadline with the class meeting that comes before it.
