From transaction to trial balance
Transactions flow into the unadjusted trial balance. Equal debit and credit totals can still hide missing or incorrect entries.
The first meeting begins with course logistics, then follows a transaction into an automated accounting system and through the trial balance. Students learn the mechanics they need to verify system output and investigate exceptions.
